MITAGS Workboat Mate Program to Start in May 2007
Due to the outstanding success of the Pacific Maritime Institute (PMI) Workboat Mate Program, formerly called the 500/1600 Ton Mate Program, the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies (MITAGS) will now offer the program at their Linthicum Heights campus beginning in May 2007.

Due to popular demand, MITAGS is now offering the courses that are necessary to upgrade from Able-Bodied Seaman to STCW-95 Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW) for vessels over 500 gross tons.
