Council of Master Mariners to Host
CAMM to host the International Federation of Ship Masters' Aassociation's (IFSA) 32nd Annual General Assembly 8-10 May 2006 in Los Angeles
The Council of American Master Mariners, Inc. (CAMM) is pleased to announce that IFSMA has accepted our invitation for them to join us for a joint International meeting. For the first time on American soil, IFSMA's 32nd Annual General Assembly will be hosted by CAMM, accompanied by CAMM's 66th Annual General Meeting and Development Conference. We anticipate this meeting, expo and educational experience to ensure that there is no better event for maritime enthusiasts.
Top officials in the maritime industry will come from around the world to attend. Some of the maritime industry's leading companies and manufacturers are calling this "the only meeting of its kind in North America."
The Expo Hall will feature vendor and organization booths, open to the public daily from 9am-5pm. Meeting highlights will be discussions and reviews of relevant maritime policies, legislation, security issues, and much more. Additional CAMM events are the Professional Development Conference (topic TBD) and Harbor Tour aboard the SS Lane Victory. Both IFSMA and CAMM business meetings will include general business details and election of officers. The agenda is as follows:

IFMSA and CAMM members may attend the business meetings. The IFSMA Papers portion of the meeting is open to the general public.
