We hope that you have enjoyed our free electronic monthly newsletter, Homeland Security IntelWatch. Ever since the tragic events of September 11, 2001, it is our belief that an educated, informed, engaged public provides this country with much needed defense in depth against the terrorist threat. Our goal and commitment is to further a partnership between the private sector and government by providing a common ground for discussion and formulation of programs and initiatives that build on the strengths and constituencies that this critical sector serves. If we are going to be successful in this War on Terrorism, we need to think in terms of a "protracted conflict," and this means mobilizing for the long term both the private sector and the general public. Education of the general public and the private sector is now necessary and we can serve as a respected interlocutor.
Through this free newsletter we aim to keep our subscribers informed on the pertinent issues of global homeland security and counterrorism. Issues addressed include nuclear, chemical, biological and radiological threats as well as maritime, port and critical energy infrastructure security threats and remediation/preventive efforts.
